Nelson Lafayette manages operational aspects of PSAV’s end-user-direct businesses, including those of the Event Services and Show Solutions Divisions. His responsibilities include the oversight of a national network of equipment distribution centers and event technology professionals.  

 

Lafayette joined PSAV in 2003 as regional vice president of operations for the Hotel Services Division in Southern California and was promoted to divisional vice president in 2005, overseeing an expanded area of operations in the Midwest.

 

Before joining PSAV, Lafayette worked in the hospitality industry for nearly two decades; as regional manager for Hospitality America Group, corporate director of operations for La Quinta Inns, Inns & Suites, and as president of a Midwest-based hotel management company.    

 

Lafayette has a B.S. in civil engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and is earning his M.B.A. from the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business.
