With an extensive background in Information Technology, Brent Rogers has spent the past nine years bringing technology solutions to the audiovisual industry. Rogers and his team support products such as PSAV’s Content Management System (Presentation Management), Audience Response Systems, and Digital Signs. Rogers began his career in information technology and moved into digital services. Joining PSAV in 2010 as corporate director of digital services, he has executed a new product support structure and continuously provided positive results. Steve Short oversees the team responsible for the growth and ongoing support of Interactive Services for PSAV’s international operations. The products and services that his team supports have been introduced through PSAV’s Business Development program, and currently include: High Speed Internet Services, HD Event Video Conferencing, Webcasting, and Mobile Apps. In addition to managing these current solutions, Steve plays an active role in the ongoing evolution of PSAV’s technology vision, by evaluating technologies and services for the meetings and events industry. Steve began work in the industry in 1989, upon graduation from Chapman University with a B.A. in studio art. Virtual Events
Brian Swann brings nearly 15 years of audiovisual industry experience to his current role as manager of virtual events. He is responsible for overseeing PSAV’s virtual event services which include HD EVC products and webcasting services. Swann ensures that PSAV delivers the proper solution to the clients’ needs. Swann joined PSAV in May 1997 – first as a technician, then as Director of Event Technology for various hotels – before his promotion to his current role in 2010. Matt Harvey oversees PSAV’s HSIA & Network Services business. Harvey is responsible for HSIA services business strategy at over 100 PSAV partner locations as well as new HSIA location sales. He also develops and maintains relationships with key decision makers in major hotel chains and the wider industry and leads PSAV’s HSIA technology roadmap. Harvey began his career with PSAV in 2003. Starting in field operations in the UK, Harvey quickly moved to a role as IT Manager for Europe. In 2008, Harvey relocated to the U.S. to serve as a Sales Engineer before his promotion to Director, Network Services in 2010. Harvey has a M.Sc. in chemistry from The University of Birmingham, UK as well as key industry certifications from Microsoft and Cisco and is an active participant in Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG). Jess Stephens is responsible for all aspects of the creative development and technical staging operations. Stephens oversees the creative execution of all events and ensures that all PSAV professionals have access to necessary resources to perform at their highest potential. Stephens joined PSAV in 2006 as RVP of Hotel Services and was promoted to his current role in September 2011. Over the course of his career, Jess has worked as a producer for The Walt Disney Company, held the position of Chief Creative Officer at a Xclamation Marketing, and produced the first ever HD Digital TV National Broadcast for the Harris Corporation. Chris Ann Coleman joined PSAV in March 2010 to lead and manage the Exhibit Services and Sales department. Coleman is responsible for the development and implementation of new strategies and processes to restructure and realign the PSAV Exhibit Services and Sales department, creating a seamless and superior Exhibit Services experience for all PSAV customers. Coleman’s background includes 13 years of industry experience with Freeman AV and AV Concepts, including experience in exhibit sales and services, association sales, training and operations management. Meg Fasy joined PSAV as vice president of industry relations in 2011. She actively promotes PSAV across the gamut of industry associations to facilitate a greater awareness of the company’s range of capabilities Fasy has broad experience in the meetings and events industry, before PSAV as VP of sales and marketplace performance with Meeting Professionals International and member of the CEMA board of directors. She has a strong background in hospitality and technology marketing too, from her prior experience with MPI, NTag, iBahn, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Hyatt Hotels. Rigging & Power Distribution
Todd Spencer has 17 years of experience in the live production and technology industry and is responsible for driving the growth of rigging and power distribution services for PSAV. His current role provides leadership to a team of rigging and power professionals that span a global network of 10 countries, service over 300 locations, and are responsible for over $40M in annual revenue. Having operated a lighting and rigging company that served the concert and Broadway theatrical touring industry, Spencer joined PSAV in 2002 to work in operational and sales roles. In 2007, he was promoted to a National Director role and became the driving force behind PSAV's growth of rigging and power distribution services. In 2010, Spencer was promoted to vice president of rigging and power distribution services. He holds credentials in business administration, is an ETCP Certified rigger, and has completed the Lighting Designers Master’s Program through Cirque de Soleil. Mark Ligda first joined PSAV as a Director of Sales in the hotel services division, managing the sales operation at a multi-million dollar location. He also worked as a technical trainer before transitioning to a project management role as part of the Technology & Business Development Team. In late 2011, Ligda was promoted to his current role. Ligda and his team are devoted to a broadscale development and deployment of meeting and event applications, as well as supporting on-going use of mobile devices. Ligda brings an array of skills to PSAV, having executed events for a wide range of groups and dignitaries including the U.S. Olympic Committee, Ben Bernanke of the Federal Reserve, Singer/Songwriter Pete Yorn, and former U.S. President Bill Clinton. Staging and Production
Tom North brings over 35 years of Event Staging and Production experience to PSAV. He has practical, hands-on experience in almost all fields associated with the event industry. He is responsible for the production teams within PSAV National Operations that are focused on the larger more complex events nationally and internationally. North started in technical theater back in 1980 in New York. After which he was the facility manager at IMAC, a nonprofit arts center for six years. In 1993, North moved to Washington D.C. as a technical sales executive with a focus on political and government events. North joined PSAV in 1997 holding positions as Account Executive, General Manager of the D.C. staging facility, Director of Staging Sales, VP of Sales, and now VP of Production. Rob Sipe
Mobile Solutions
Rob Sipe oversees the sales of PSAV’s Mobile Solutions for smartphone and tablet devices, including both apps for events and amenities apps for hotels. Sipe began his audiovisual career in 2001 doing audio and camera work for various NCAA sports and began with PSAV in 2003. A graduate of PSAV’s Advanced Development Program, Sipe has since held several positions with various PSAV locations as Assistant Director, Director of Event Technology, Business Development Project Manager, and now Sales Engineer for Mobile Solutions.
